Evaluating the Text/Reading List/Bibliography Standard

Here are some things to look for:

  • Explain any specialized software, apps or other materials the students might need. Be sure to tell them what they will need it for and how it will help them with the content of the course.
  • Direct students to CarmenCanvas for additional materials. If you list those materials in your course schedule, be sure to cite them appropriately.
  • Clearly explain any optional or supplemental resources within Course Resources
  • If you have an assignment that asks students to choose a book from a list, be sure to indicate that in the Course Resources section, either by listing the books in Course Resources, or by referencing the assignment description.
