What is ELEARNING at EHE?
With eLearning packages, you are able to create a standalone curriculum, project, or extend your course’s ability to provide student-to-content interaction! These “learning objects” can be used as a supplement to a larger activity in a course or as a standalone component of an outreach or research project.
A course built in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or H5P may provide an easy way to convey information, while things such as interactive video, drag-and-drop, find the hotspot, flashcards, and timelines provide low-stakes opportunity for learners to practice and test what they know.
Who to contact?
Contact EHE’s Academic Technology team at ehe-servicedesk@osu.edu to tell us about your project idea.
An instructional designer will work with you to determine your individual eLearning object needs, but the potential features and programs that can be utilized include (but aren’t limited to):
- H5P, Storyline, or Captivate (programs)
- Interactive videos
- Drag-and-drop functionality
- Timeline creation
- Hotspot images
- Learning games
- Supplemental course material
- Standalone curriculum
- Research documentation
Our Commitment
We’re here to support and partner with you to engage in reflective practices about teaching and learning, make pedagogical choices based on evidence in literature, and build high quality educational experiences for all students.
